Clan battles #51 - #60

Match #60 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs Black Lords of Inefficiency (BLI): 274 - 289 (SQL POTS)

The old Space Invaders got their revenge against our 2 wins before in this SQLmatch. We had a bad start on dm2 and couldnīt get all frags back on dm4, so BLI won. We have added 5 frags on our score for a disconnect. Of course BLI didnīt wanna meet us in a QW match (now when we have become QWspecialists) so we had to play in regular lag quake (that we donīt like anymore). Im certained that the outcome would have been completly different if this match would have been played in QW instead.
But we have congratulate BLI on this win and their total win in SQL POTS division this season, but next season it will be in QW and then we will get our revenge :-) finally

Match #59 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs LAV (LAV): 451 - (-5) (!)

LAV challenged us, but it seems that they never played QW before and not map dm2, so the outcome was spectacular (from our viewpoint) with our biggest win ever and the biggest fragratio in a dmmatch (301- -22 on dm2). All newbie clans should take this as a warning, if you are going to meet a big clan you must learn all the normal dmmaps that your opponent could choose and if you havn't played QW before learn it first before the game. It was sad to see how bad prepared they were.

Match #58 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs the Teddy Bears (TB): 108 - 245 (SQL POTS)

Our first match in the second seson of SQL, this time SQL is divided in one POTS division and one OPEN division, and this wasour first match in POTS division. Unfortunaly TB got their revenge after 2 POTS defeats against us before, after a good teama good team effort they won. This was the debute of our new member RoW, who didn't had an easy task, this beeing is first important and this beeing a regular (lag) quake match, and he is a QW specialist so its was hard for him but we expect great things from him in the future in QW matches.

Match #57 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs Sympathy For the Devil Clan (SFD): 302 - 96

We had some diffucults in getting players to this match, so in the first half we had to use one LPB so we could get a full squad. but again we managed to get a kickass victory (OK, they get some frags too;-)

Match #56 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs Medieval Chainsaw Killer Clan (MCKC): 220 - 54

Another easy victory even though we were only 3 against their four players. We had one LPB, our dear Overlord who (as usual;-) had a lousy ping with an average of around 4000. But we still managed to win comfortable.

Match #55 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs The Dork Clan (DORK): 120 - 40

Our second fight against the Dorks, this time it was a pure modem fight and they got a little bit closer than our first fight.

Match #54 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs The Dork Clan (DORK): 106-10 (BGP)

Our first Battle Ground Passagen (BGP) DMmatch, not much to say except it was a comfortable victory. They had a disconnect with 3 frags that we have included in their score.

Match #53 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs Up Your Backpack (UYB): 49 - 139

No comments...not
This shows what happens when you dont play like a team against a good clan.
UYB, we will get you next time when we will play like a team and not like newbies, like this time.

Match #52 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs Brutal Deluxe (BD): 202 - 91

The rematch against BD, this time they were Brutally crushed again by us ;-)

Match #51 Da Swedish Mob (SWE MOB) vs Black Lords of Inefficiency (BLI): 229 - 103 (SQL final)

This was the match, I think, everybody was, and has been, looking forward to. BLI had won every SQL-match they played and they had won big-time. We hadn't played BLI before so, frankly, we were quite nervous about this one. The match opened up and I think every single player on the map was more or less nervous. DM6 is a map where it exists one major keypoint i.e. the red armour - rocketlauncher. If you could control that area for a whole match you are very likely the winner of the map. So at the opening of the match both teams tried to get control there, but during the first stages of the match neither of the teams managed to get some good control. After a while we did get the red armour area secured, and by that time we had more frags than BLI, and after a while they stayed in the RL 100+ room and didn't leave, but since we had the RA and the other RL there was no problems in getting a few frags on hit and runs in their room and by the end of the game, MOB held both RL areas and were totally in control of the entire map so BLI didn't stand a chance whatsoever... a total crush.

DM3, the good ol' mobster-map. This map was an own battle...the-undisputed-King-of-the-DM3 battle. BLI secured the RL at the start of DM3 and more or less held it for the whole match, we had the red armour and the super nailgun, so it was Rockets against Nails and believe it or not, we won. Two of us held the red armour (with our nails :) and the other two was hunting lonely RL-guys to spike with some nails so they could get their hands on a RL. I think this "SQL-final" is one of the best match we've ever played. We played like a team and not like a bunch of individuals like we used to. The future is our :)
