New qualification/playoff system

2006-03-18 00:07 by term

Once again we have decided to change the qualification system. The EQL2 system was better then the previous one but there's still room for improvements. The biggest issue have been inactivity in the qualification matches and therefore they will be removed in EQL3!

To qualify for a higher divison in EQL4 a team must be top2 in the regular EQL3 season, bottom2 teams will be moved down one division. This will hopefully motivate teams to be more active and it means that we can have a PLAYOFF IN EACH DIVISION!.

"bottom2 teams will be moved down one division"
My clan (suddendeath) will play in div2 next season then? Without facing the top div2 clans?

If ur bottom2 yes, very few bottom2 teams cares about that type of qualification matches, we tried that in EQL1.
