Registration for SD2 are now closed and we got 51 Clans that want to compete in the upcoming season. This is a very impressive number vastly exceeding the number of participants from last season.
So whats up next? Like mentioned before the amount if spaces for this league is limited. There will be 4 groups with 8 clans each which means we only got 32 spots. Thus qualifiers are necessary. There are 4 teams which will each be preseeded into one of the groups. These teams are the semifinalists of SD1, namely FF, E, TVS and CMF. A yet to be determined number of teams will also get preseeded into a group (but not into a specific one). Which teams get granted a spot in the groups depends on their reputation, how good they are, reliability and results from last season. All the rest will have to qualify for the remaining places during the next week. After that is done, group games will start at the 25th of january.
There will be a b-division for those who don't make it through the qualifiers and still want to play games. Unlike the other teams they compete just for fun and not for reaching the playoffs.
The pairings for the qualifiers will be published here on the webpage during the next days. I have a small problem concernign the team registrations. Due to some problems i had with my mail system i lost a few mails from some clans. I would be glad if the following clans could send me their info again:
Negative
Obey the Game Law
SPAS
Hellfire Clan
ADT2
Frag eXecutors
Natural Born Fraggaz
NME
Tanks in advance, i will try to contact you as well but its easier for me the other way round.
