To get our feet wet, let us first have some general numbers:
- In the five divisions, 89 teams were initially registered.
- If we consider that about 3/4 of the teams actually played some games, and an average team consits of 5 members, over 330 players participated in the league.
- The total score in Season 2 is 147730 frags(1).
- Across the divisions, 198 games were played (i.e., not counting default wins).
- In those games, 473 rounds were needed to decide them.
- Over 350 demos were made available for download from Challenge-TV throughout the season and over 400 demos are on this cd.
- Full reports were submitted for approximately half of the games, amounting to 100 full reports.
From now on, I will concentrate on maps or rounds rather than on games. I've made a few graphs for comparing the maps, and I have tried to be consistent with the colouring, so it should be easier to see the connections between the graps. Results related to DM2 will be orange, those related to DM3 will be green, DM6 is presented in gray, E1M2 in yellow and data for E3M7 will be in blue.
Notes:
(1) frags here are final scores of the team, i.e. suicides and teamfrags are taken into account implicitely.
