Our friends from the australasian qw news site BesMella.Quake made an interesting interview with famous FF player aKKe. Read it here and this is a snippet from it:
Soldier: Would you be keen for international team matches on lan? And do you think this would ever happen? aKKe: Sure i would be interested, but will it ever happen? - I'm not so sure. Like everything else, it depends on sponsors since i don't think people would be so keen on paying their own travel expenses. The money invested in Q3 has resulted in other games like QW fading away in the background and i don't think there are many sponsors willing to invest money in QW. Sad but true.
Hm, there is still a chance of lan finals for SD2... The reports section has been updated quite regularly lately, so go check it out.
