Finally the page and our backoffice are finished 99% by now and look how they should have from the start on.
You may have noticed that the "Teams" page changed a few days ago. Its taking its info right form the database now instead of a simple html template. Overall it looks much better now, teams are sorted by group and each team has an individual page. The individual page displays not only the general teaminfo but also the schedule of that team, each members icq and mail and lots of other things as well. Jjonez is still working a bit on the layout but on the whole its finished. If you want me to add more things there, like your clanlogo (see FF info how that can look like) or icq numbers of each member just contact me.
The next big thing is the schedule. Today i have created all group games. The ones' scheduled before today and those that were already played (and reported to me) were entered with their correct date. All others were scheduled for the upcoming weekend and the weeks thereafter. Note that the schedule needs a bit more of work (for example all games after the next weekend are scheduled for a single day instead of spreading them over 4 days) but after 3 hours of creating games i had enough. The adjustments will be made tomorrow.
A game can still be played on another date, just inform an admin who can change it within seconds. And sorry for the next games coming on such a short notice, i promise it was the last time :-)
You might note that the scheduler also shows the maps to be played. Each clan has a "home map" displayed on thier team info. The schedule assumes that the team wants to play this map in each game and creates the decider map according to what the other team's map is. Of course this can be changed. If you want another "homemap" you have to mail me and i will change it. If you want to change your map for a certain game you should inform you match admin at least 48 hours before the game takes place. At that time the database will create the tiebreaker map (admins can do that manually as well).
The old reports have been removed as well and they get replaced by the ones' created through the backoffice. From now on each matchadmin can add a report immedeatly. There should not be the delays we used to have. The admins will add the old reports during the next days. If you played a game which has not been reported so far, or which did not have an admin contact me asap so that it does not get lost. From the reports rankings will be created. The report page still needs a bit of work on the layout, it will look nicer soon.
So all is good except for a few things. Currently we cannot add demos and screenshots through the backoffice. Demos are added by another script right now so thats not a problem really. Screenshots will be missing on the reports though but i think we will have this feature until the end of the week so its just a minor flaw.
Another thing we will be lacking are the statistics the other divisions have. Simply because its too much work to analyze the hundreds of maps being played. Of course i will try to compensate that somehow. I think i will be doing more interviews with teams now. If you have another good idea (instead of stats) let me know.
Finally i'd like to welcome Cosmos on the admin team. It turns out that we do not have enough admins for the many games played so we need another 3-4 good people. If you have a lot of time, a calm temper, stable connection, maybe even some experience mail me.
