Until now this tournament seemed to be the only thing going right in my life at the moment. Today this turned out to be wrong because apparently the league is poorly run.

First thing that annoyed me today was, that after coming online the first time after three days of absence, there was (almost) no info available about the two games that took place during that time. Even though that was not a new experience to me (and the few readers of this site as well) i was disappointed because these were important and interesting matches and the community has a right to know what happened. I guess we will see a lot of changes on the admin team next season (if there is going to be one) and that includes questioning my own participation as well.

While looking around for info on the TVS-OD game i joined the #tvs channel and eventually asked wether they'd already contacted FF about their semifinal. I hoped to get a positive answer, that it was already sheduled and we would all get to see a great game, soon. I was wrong though by being told that there were problems. After talking to both teams the situation currently looks like this: FF want to play as soon as possible but not later than tomorrow because Akke will leave for quite some time on thursday and FF will rather give a walkover than not being able to play with Akke. TVS on the other hand want to play under the best conditions possible that means they want to gather all their players on lan. But this is not possible until the next weekend. To some degree i understand each position, both teams want to do their best to win. But whatever i decide it will be wrong and will favour one team over the other. Or we could delay the remaining games for another 2 months which is absolutely no option in my opinion. I have no clue what to do at the moment, i guess i will have to sleep over it.

But what lead us to this situation? I have to blame myself for a great part of it. I was not consequent enough during the earlier playoff stages to make the teams play their games within a reasonable timeframe (actually the season would already have ended by now). I was also consequent enough towards many of the "admins" some of which never bothered to do a single thing but idling in #smackdown as operator. Thus what could have been the best QW tournament ever turns out to be just another league with many many problems.
Let's hope that the remaining teams are still motivated enough to bring this to a halfway decent end. For my own part i have lost lots of my enthusiasm today.
