Challenge Smackdown North Europe
 Round 1 - Hangtime
DM3 - The Abandoned Base (Tribe of Tjernobyl's choice)
Demos
ReportOddjob gets the 1st rl and heads up to ya, tot getting quad and goh pent i think not too sure. As expected the inexperienced GOH had a hard time getting any kind of control in this game, and with oddjob running quads soon the whole TOT team got rls. Impulse was locking down YA with dad and slabby controlling the ra/ring positions, forcing GOH rls to head to the sng area. they were swiftly dealt with more than once by a quadded oddjob though. the usual fragging ensues, tot gets 2nd pent but the 3rd one is more interesting. oddjob is out of position to get it, and when tot players try to come to the window from quad they are attack by an advancing jjonez and driven back/killed. However it seems he got rather carried away with this fragging and totally forgot about pent. everyone must have either forgotten about pent or thought it must have been taken, cos there was much amusemnt amongst the specs looking at a pent just lying there more than 30secs after it had spawned. in the end Catay for GOH took it just before the 11minute mark after he jumped out the window to get the mega. he moved to quad in time for it to spawn, maybe now goh had a chance at a comeback. however, he ran out of rockets and then dropped down to try and attack a tot rl with only ssg... meaning he couldnt rj back up to the quad and was killed when pent ran out. the rest of the game was more of the same spawnfragging for tot, slabby obviously hadnt been paying attention about the last pent, cos he was sat outside waiting nearly a minute for the 4th one. final score 261-33 in favour of TOT, oddjob topscoring with 90 frags and 100% efficiency.

Round 2 - Hangtime
DM6 - The Dark Zone (Tribe of Tjernobyl's choice)

Reportdm6... ZZzZzz. GoH prolly took this map since the superior teamplay of ToT wouldnt count for much on the spam-tastic dark zone, however the swedes had little trouble brushing them aside on skills too. I was in IRC for most of this game as personally i find dm6 very boring to watch for more than a few minutes, theres not much to say anyway. ToT retained control of RA for all but brief periods, oddjob making a lot of frags around the GA area too. Even when GoH was able to win back RA they were quickly overrun by the more skilled ToT guys. Poor Spunky found it rather tough going on his 160-200 ping connection but other than that GoH were at least able to have some fun picking up frags with the dmm3 setting. Final score ToT 415 - 163 GoH.
