Finding a server in a game between a Finnish and a German clan is quite hard, finding a fair one sheer impossible. We didn't spend much time on finding a l33t server, just went to Danish get2net and pings weren't too uneven and everyone probably knew it couldn't get any fairer, just better to either side and worse to the other. TDI had to suffer a small ping advantage, between 3-12 ms, depending on the situation.
Dm6 was TDI's choice, Overdoze chose dm2. The deciding 3rd map would be e1m2 if needed.
After some talking, mouse cleaning and turning powerups off because some players still haven't read/accepted the rules, the game could finally start.
Overdoze took the first ring and could quickly get control over Red Armour, giving them more frags during the first minutes. But that wouldn't last forever, in fact it would only last very shortly. After 2 minutes OD lead 32-22 and TDI gained control over RA. This was used to overtake OD's fragaccount very soon, after 2 1/2 minutes TDI took over the lead but could only work out a few frags lead. Very quickly OD's RA spammage was successful and it was lost again (from TDI's POV). OD then held RA pretty well and could get some more frags than TDI. The game then would only see two more changes. After halftime TDI's score grew and was really close to OD's until they nearly managed to overtake them. OD did know how to stop them though, so they got the map back and from then on OD never lost it and won the map quite convincingly in the end.

Round 2 - Andy
DM2 - Claustrophobolis (Overdoze's choice)
