ReportThe first map of this match was played on a finnish server where CMF had a slight ping advantage.
CMF grabs high RL and quad, while OC gets lower RL. The quadrunner for CMF bores straight away though and OC takes control over tele. CMF strikes back and grabs the second quad too, but that one also gets killed pretty fast. 2 minutes in to the game OC leads by 1 frag. I expected this to be a match with many twists and turns, but maybe not quite so many. The following minutes neither of the teams could get a successful quadrun going. Either the quadcarrier gets shot down early or he becomes bored with life. Somehow CMF gets a bit more frags and leads by 10 with 15 minutes left to play. Then Gore gets the first good quadrun in the game that secures tele for OC and also cleans some down at lower RL. CMF had people with RL hiding away at 200/mega though and, you guessed it, make a successful attack on the next quad. It's now CMF's turn to secure tele and get even more control than OC had. CMF start to pull away and leads with 38 frags with 10 minutes remaining. OC wasn't about to give up yet though and a few minutes later they snatched quad, secured tele and pushed CMF to lower RL. The fraggap was 75 frags in favour for CMF with 7 minutes left. From here on OC was in control of tele and quad most of the time, while CMF was at lower and bigroom. Some hard pushing from OC to narrow the fraggap followed but they couldn't penetrate CMF's defense and the gap more or less remained the same until the end.

ReportFor the second map we moved to a server in Sweden where pings were fair.
OC gets quad this time around and CMF gets RL. CMF uses their weaponadvantage when they take the second quad. From there they secure YA/GL and start running quad. They have a lead of 10 frags with 18 minutes remaining and 2 minutes later it's 20 frags. This was a very tight game and OC grabs quad and makes a comeback. The quadrunner secures YA/GL and reduces CMF's lead to 13 frags with 13 minutes left to play. 11 miuntes into the game it's still CMF in front with 18 frags. The next couple of minutes there is a major struggle over control and it ends with CMF on top. 6 minutes remaining and the score is 132-91 in favour of CMF. OC isn't the team who gives up easily though and fights back hard. They reduce CMF's lead to 26 frags with 3 minutes remaining and are now in full control of the map, except for mega where CMF are hiding their RLs. OC chase and chase, but mega is a hard position to just take over and the seconds are ticking away. In the end it was not quite enough for OC and CMF could take a victory on E1M2 with merely 13 frags.
It sure was an exciting game to watch. Well played both teams.
