ReportThe first quarterfinal got on it's way with CMF taking pent and RL, while OMG got quad. CMF's RLguy bored though, so the start was pretty even. CMF secured RA early on and that left YA to OMG. With 18 minutes remaining the game was a tie. The following minutes there was a mad struggle for quad, with CMF loading up at RA and OMG at YA, still a close game with CMF leading by 1 frag 4 minutes into the game. The second pent was grabbed by OMG, but the pentrunner didn't have a RL so he couldn't use it to much effect. After the pent had ended it was instead CMF who locked the map and began increasing their lead. Nothing dramatic happened after that, CMF kept fragging away and also got the third pent. OMG snatched the last pent though and got something going. It didn't last long though and an OMG player dropped and was replaced at the 16 minute mark. Nothing could stop CMF and they took a comfortable win on DM3.
Round 2 - Exile
E1M2 - Castle of the Damned (Clan MalFunction's choice)

ReportCMF grabs RL and OMG quad, but it's instantly killed. YA/GL is secured by CMF early on and they get a superb start. With 18 minutes remaining they lead by 19 and with 18 min they have a lead of 51. OMG had enough at this point and takes quad and cleans out YA. The gap to CMF is now 50 frags with 14 minutes left. The following minutes are tight. OMG control YA/GL, just to lose it an instant later. 11 minutes remaining and CMF lead by 61. CMF now has YA/GL secured. Now they steadily increase their lead all the time, except near the end when OMG makes a comeback, but it's way too late by then and the only thing left to do is congratulate CMF to a place in the semifinals and to a well played quarterfinal.
