This Group B game between the Russian ADT and Finnish KOFF clan was played on a Danish Get2net server. The pings were very fair, both pinging around 50 average. That's the good thing. The bad thing is that ADT constantly had 10-15% packet loss. Maybe their internet café's connection was able to handle it well, as they didn't seem to care too much. Koff's map was dm3 (what a surprise), ADT chose e1m2 (again: surprise!). The final map would be dm6 as mr Oppy's bot demanded. ADT was able to give KOFF a good fight on dm3 during the first minutes. Soon KOFF started to gain more and more frags however, giving KOFF the pent wasn't a good idea either (koff guy stole the pent with 3 health left...). The game went on with KOFF getting more and more control and the frags. When KOFF lead by about 50 frags, ADT "started" to play. Both, the 10mins and the 15mins remaining Pent were taken by ADT. The last one brought them successfully back into the game. And soon the map was locked by ADT. It's not too often that you see an ADT player camping YA which actually was the case at the end of that game. ADT got more and more frags but everyone knew it was already too late and it would be just a matter of how the final result looks. Koff wins 149-127.

Round 2 -

ADT got a good start on e1m2. They ran about 3 or 4 Quads (no RL dude though) and could control YA. Koff then flooded Quad and soon got it with their RL guys. YA-GL-QUAD was all Koff's. Megahealth also was soon under Koff's control. OK that's how the game started. Pretty boring and one sided from an early point. Should that be all? Of course not. If you've ever seen ADT you will know that they will never give up fighting and their mm3 skillz can break any map lock. Except for one, all the observers who saw the game through me, left seeing it would be an easy victory to Koff. CUNTS. ADT got YA back and Quad too. Yes, and the lock was not only "un-locked" but also turned into a lock by the other team. ADT controlled the map and were hungry for frags. By 6 minutes remaining the gap was quite big but the specs already said that ADT would win this if KOFF didn't change their style of playing. Well, KOFF did. They didn't hide (it was way too early) but continued trying to get the map back. And they failed. KOFF got some frags here and there and got control over Megahealth and managed to kill ADT's over-motivated Quad guy who just ran into outside area without armor. But fuck who cares about the control? In the end only the frags count. About 2 minutes before the end, Roscoe dropped (tactical one? :p) but got back into the game very quickly again. In the end it was enough from ADT's POV. They beat Koff 158-146. Great game that was, i highly suggest to download a demo which hopefully will soon be available at Challenge-TV.

It had to come sooner or later. Dm6 as the deciding map. Everyone hates it. No one sees real teamplay involved in it. Everyone finds dm6 games boring to watch. I don't like dm6 games either, one of the main reasons being it's nearly impossible to write an "interesting" report about them since it's way too much chaos. Koff vs ADT wasn't very different. From the start on ADT got the top 4 spots, think they lead 15 - 1 :) That didn't say anything of course, scores change really quickly on dm6. The deciding match was much like the e1m2 one. Koff took some control after 7 minutes and got about 50 frags lead. Sooner ADT took completely over and were hunting fro that huge frag disadvantage. Everything seemed undecided yet. And yeah, about 1 1/2 minutes before the end ADT managed to take the lead, with being in control of RA. But then ADT got some really unlucky teamkills which were a great invitation to KOFF to take RA over which they did. Koff's Roscoe dropped again and came in (not to enable an aimbot, i did f_modified after game :p) and Koff took over the lead again. When the game was finished the scoreboard said 287-241 to ADT. Adding the frags of Roscoe before he dropped (install Kteam 2.21 get2net d00dZ!) it makes 299-287 to KOFF. It was a great game, and surely some kind of success for ADT. They've never been closer to a victory in a Smackdown game and it was against one of the best Finnish clans as well. Great game Koff and ADT.
