Today its celebration day for all quakers as our game grows exactly 5 years old today and its still going strong. On the 24th of february 1996 ID unleashed "The Official Quake Deathmatch TEST" upon an unexpecting world (well not really, people were waiting on irc and flooded their ftp). After that quake made history as the game that paved the way for online gaming. It is also without doubt one of the very best games ever made, truly a classic. So happy fragging everyone. I am looking forward to another 5 years with this great game :-)
