Some people decided to start a 2on2 league in europe. A very good idea indeed because 2on2 is very popular, lots of fun and easier to organize than a 4on4 clanmatch. Registration for the league called "The Quake Chaos League" started two days ago and teams can sign up until friday 29th of june. There is unfortunately no info about rules or even who runs it yet but anyway if you want to play QW competetive over the summer in europe head to their website.
I found info about this league on challeng-eu which is a weird place to find QW related news these days. In the comments to this article pg said that there will be a QW 2on2 tournament in north america, too. Their page is almost done and will be hosted by challenge-tv so i suggest to keep an eye on that site or aks pg in #challenge on ETG for more info.
