ReportAfter what seemed a rather lengthy amount of time it was decided that the games were to be played on the Optus@Home servers.
With both teams pinging pretty much equally Optus seemed the right choice of server. After a bit of sorting out the line-ups were as follows:
iCey - stereo, adder, shad and dEF
thdm - tones, melt, driz and nevamind
The game got off to a fairly equal start with both teams getting a few of the map resources each. iCey managed to take control of YA and MH for the majority of the game and also get the majority of the quads which gave them a comfortable win 164 to 99. Adder top scored for iCey.
Round 2 - Sparky
DM3 - The Abandoned Base (Icey's choice)

ReportAfter the e1m2 match had finished iCey chose dm3. The game started with the same line-up. Much to THDM's dissapointment Nevamind timed-out in the first 5minutes or so which gave iCey a comfortable lead and gave them a lot of control. By the time nevamind got back in iCey had a considerable lead. THDM was able to regain some frags during the match but it wasn't enough, iCey taking out dm3 195 to 55. dEF top scored for iCey.
