After watching iC play THDM the night before I wasn't expecting them to organise another match so soon. When both sides got four players online it was nice to see them both agree to play on IPGN, even though iC were close to asking about the Optus server as some of their players weren't pinging too well. Thankfully, by the time everyone was ready the pings had gone down...for the cable/ADSL players anyway. iC didn't waste much time in getting control of the map but this was helped by spawning at RL and also getting the first quad. Dude had the RL and, after getting some armour, headed off to grab the next quad in order to make sure Dx didn't cause any trouble early. There must have been some holes in iC's water coverage though as Miyagi and the other Dx guys were able to get a weapon out on different occasions, but when faced with four tanked opponents these little assaults didn't last long. Dude continued to run quad for iC while the others took care of the main areas which allowed him to tank up easily and repeat the cycle. Dx also had to endure a few minutes of 3 v 4 with Deny timing out but in the end iC were too strong.

At the start of dm2 Dx once again had problems with one of their players as Miyagi's ping and PL shot up, apparently due to his roommate deciding that now would be a good time to start leeching. By the time he was back to normal iC already had a handy lead and was getting ready to proceed with the spawn fragging. Sending the quad guy (usually Dude again) down to lower RL was effective in clearing out the Dx players that tended to gather there. The rest of iC then made the most of the resulting spawns and just had to tank up when required. Overall it wasn't a good night for Dx with a misunderstanding between Deny and Miyagi making it worse. Well done to iC on another win.
