ReportTHDM had made life difficult for a lot of teams on this map during the group games and they looked to be doing the same this time around against Foad. For the first 5 minutes they could have built up a handy lead if it wasn't for Reign keeping Foad in the game. The other Foad players started to get into the frags but THDM managed to keep the scores close for a while before Foad established what seemed to be a match winning lead. In the last few minutes THDM did a good job at YA while Foad's scoring slowed down a fair bit...it wasn't long before THDM were in front. They finished the map in the same fashion to be 1 - 0 in the match.

ReportFoad always looked comfortable on their map once they began to run quad...which they did right from the start. For most of the map Foad did enough in each area to keep the frags ticking over while Reign and Vindictiv would clean up with quad when needed. The THDM players seemed to be able to sneak out with weapons but usually weren't able to last long enough to do any damage as Foad had players around the map. Foad seemed to slow down a bit near the end which saw THDM get a few extra frags.

ReportThis map seems to be appearing a fair bit during the finals, as a result we've been able to see tactics develop with each game. The pent RL was still the area both teams wanted and it was THDM who had it for most of the map as their players used it to regroup every so often. This gave Foad slightly easier access to the main RL and the area around the RA became the meeting point of the two teams. THDM made the most of pent RL providing a quad, mega and YA for their use and were able to build up a decent lead until Foad took the last pent with 5 minutes to go. Most of THDM got wiped out so in an attempt to protect their lead they adopted the 'hide' approach for the rest of the game. It might not have been the best way to win but overall they had done enough for the victory.
