It took a little while for this game to happen but in the end we got eight players together and the match was underway. FA chose dm2 and both teams got their hands on quad early which made for a nice, close game. The first 5 or 6 minutes followed this trend but all of a sudden FA were able to get a run of frags going with Beasil leading the way...keep in mind that his ping was about 100 higher then everyone else's. At this point FA looked to go into their usual spawn fragging routine but occasionally an iC player managed to get an RL out and so some damage before he was worn down. Having control of most of the resources meant that it didn't take long for FA players to stock up again once they were killed. With around 8 minutes remaining FA somehow let iC grab quad, and this happened a few times in the next few minutes as iC were able to get their score moving again. Being able to break FA's hold saw the end of the map played in a similar manner to the start where the honours were just about even.

After getting his f_modified sorted out, Stez jumped in for Teflon and e1m2 got started. The majority of quads in the first 10 minutes went FA's way but iC didn't let them get too far ahead. Most of FA's lead of 25 at the half-way mark would have been made up of frags with the quad which suggests that the contest was very even despite what the score showed. This was confirmed with iC keeping the margin to about 20 frags for the next few minutes before FA once again broke loose like they did on dm2. During the last few minutes of the match FA's run saw them rack up over 80 frags compared with iC getting around 10...this was a reminder of the form that has seen them go through season 2 without dropping a map on the way to the Grand Final.
